Sara Myers
Multimedia Editor
As a multimedia editor, Sara writes content for NWQ and also produces video content for both editorial and marketing partners. Her areas of interest include music, film, social issues and traveling.
Sara was born in Rockford and grew up in Winnebago, Ill. She graduated from Winnebago High School in 2013. She earned her bachelor’s in media studies with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in public relations from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in May 2018. At college, she worked as managing editor and was later promoted to editor-in-chief at UW-Platteville’s student newspaper, the Exponent. She also volunteered at UW-Platteville’s radio station 90.5 FM – WSUP, where she was on music staff and had a short career as a disc jockey.
