Chris Linden

Chris Linden is a jack-of-all-trades who leads NWQ’S Chicagoland edition, in addition to social media, video projects and web development for NorthwestQuarterly.com. His areas of interest include green building technology, suburban life, small business and digital publishing.

Born in Indiana and raised in Rockford, Chris graduated from Guilford High School in 2004. He earned his bachelor’s in Political Science from Millikin University, Decatur, Ill., and a master’s in journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.

A former television producer, he most recently worked as Hometowns editor and web producer for WIFR before joining Northwest Quarterly full-time in 2010. Chris lives in Crystal Lake with his wife, Rachel, a speech language therapist who has a knack for working with young children.
