CRYSTAL LAKE — McHenry County College Scots’ Athletics is sponsoring the 11th annual ScotStars boys and girls basketball all-skills camps and a specialty shooting camp June 11-14.

An all-skills camp for boys and girls entering second through fourth grades will take place from 9 to 11:15 a.m., followed by a basketball specialty shooting camp for those entering second through eighth grades from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an all-skills camp for students in grades fifth through eighth from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m.

The camps are coordinated by the MCC men’s and women’s basketball coaching staffs. ScotStars camps are held in the air-conditioned MCC gym. Participants will receive a ScotStars camp T-shirt, a group photo and a certificate of completion, all included in the registration fee. Campers will be grouped by age and/or ability whenever feasible.

Other MCC ScotStars sports camps will feature all-skills soccer camps and soccer specialty shooting and goalkeeping for boys and girls July 9-12 and July 16-19.
